We recommend signing up for the online waiting list as this place is popular! But popular for very good reason. The food was excellent - the French toast in particular! Country fried chicken steak was lovely, with lighter options also good. This is just good quality, well served home-style cooking. Great, quick friendly service, you can see why this place is so popular.

A spectacular local recommendation brought us to Butterhorn Bakery & Cafe on our drive back to Denver from Breckenridge. This charming Main Street staple has been a beloved local favorite for over 40 years, serving up an exceptional breakfast, brunch, and lunch experience. The atmosphere is vibrant and uniquely playful, complete with colorful decor, humorous signs, and a skiing dog emerging from the ceiling.​Their commitment to from-scratch baking is evident across an extensive menu that features everything from elevated classics like Eggs Butterhorn to a full selection of specialty Mimosas and Bloody Marys. While the dine-in hospitality was fantastic, you cannot leave without visiting their bakery counter. We took away some Mexican Wedding Cookies, their famous cinnamon rolls, and what I can easily say is the BEST apple croissant I have ever tasted. A flawless Frisco tradition.

Our favorite breakfast place when we're in the area!! The portions are nice and large, the cinnamon roll french toast is to die for! Also the best Bloody Mary's around! They do get busy so plan for a wait, it's definitely worth it!!
